How To Record a Phone Call

It doesn’t really matter why you want to record your phone calls – you just want to know how to do it, right?

Here’s how  ......  in three easy steps

Step 1: Buy a telephone recording adapter

Step 2: Know where you want to record your phone calls

Step 3: Plug everything in and start recording

Now, do you want to do this the Easy Way or the Cheapest Way? Note DVR means Digital Voice Recorder  (a little Dictaphone)  - if your computer is in another room from the telephone you will want a DVR.  They are much cheaper than getting another computer.

Easy Way

Don’t worry about what type of phone you have just buy one of these little recorders, because they do all telephone types and plug into your computer or DVR.

Cheapest Way

First of all, what type of telephone you have e.g. analogue, digital or VOIP?  Second, where do you want to record your calls e.g. computer or DVR?  Remember -  If your phone is near the computer great  - if not you need the DVR.

Analogue Telephones (most home phones are analogue) use:
